Traverse ancient Rhododendron forests to Ruka, descend to Tangta endpoint. Tangta to Jhalong and Bindu are accessible in about an hour.

The Neora is a small hill stream in the Kalimpong sub-division of North Bengal, rising from near the tri-junction (3,200 m — 10,500 ft) of West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bhutan, and flowing southward for about 58 km before emerging on the plains of the Jalpaiguri district near Gorubathan.
Some of the notable animals that can be found in the park include the elusive Red Panda, Himalayan Black Bear, Clouded Leopard, Leopard Cat, Indian Civet, Goral, Barking Deer, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, and numerous species of birds including the vibrant Himalayan Monal and Blood Pheasant.
The park reaches up to an elevation of 10600 ft at Rechela Danda , the highest point of Neora Valley National park, which borders Sikkim and Bhutan .
To reach Neora Valley from Kalimpong, you can hire a private vehicle or taxi for a 2-3 hour journey, or consider a trekking route with proper planning and guidance from experienced guides.
