Route – The trek starts from Sandakphu and after 14km you reach a tiny village called Sabargram at an altitude of 11,624ft. There is a forest hut where you can stay for the night depending on the availability. Another option is Molley which is a further 2km down the hill. From Sabargram, Phalut is another 7km away. If you are planning to cover the trek in a day you should start early in the morning.
The difficulty level of the Sandakphu to Phalut trek can be considered moderate to challenging. The trek involves long distances, steep ascents and descents, and varying trail conditions.
